Day 1: Arrival in the capital of Georgia – the city of Tbilisi, at the airport you will be met by the representative of our travel company and the driver, then you will go to hotel. Placement in hotel. Overnight in hotel.

Day 2: Ananuri-Karzbegi
After breakfast drive to Kazbegi. A stunning drive from Gudauri along the Tergi River will bring us to Kazbegi – the main town in the region. On the way we pass Ananuri Castle and Jinvaly woter reservoir of amazing beauty. From Kazbegi a leisurely 1.5 hour walk up through beautiful valleys and woodland leads us to Gergeti Trinity Church located at 2170m. Weather permitting you may catch a glimpse of one of the highest glaciers in the Caucasus – Mt Kazbegi (5047m). We walk back to the town and before returning to Gudauri drive to Dariali Gorge. (NOTE: to drive to Dariali Gorge or Trinity Church we need 4X4 cars, and in case of the group travel, when group is travelling by bus, we can rent 4X4 cars on the spot and price is USD 15 per person to drive both sights). From Gudauri we drive to Tbilisi. En route visit village and see how locals make different hand made things (thick felt, embroidery, iconographic painting). Drive back to Tbilisi.

Day 3:  Gremi / Nekresi/ Kvareli
Breakfast at the hotel.  Continuation of tour around Kakheti:
Gremi – castle of the XVI century. In last years of the city here lived Great Martyress Ketevan. Persians killed her in 1624. Since then, it seems to be considered the patronessGremi. Every day at the archangel church are held thanksgiving service.
Nekresi – originally at this place was the ancient city Nekresi. In VI century near to the town appeared monastery, which was founded by one of the Assyrian Fathers, Abibos Nekresi
Wine degustation in Kvareli – we will delight with genuine Georgian wine in wine cellar, also you will participate in baking Georgian national bread “Shoti” and learn the technology of making Georgian national candy “Churchkhela”.

Day 4 : The city of “Love” of Signagi/ Bodbe’s monastery
City of love – Sighnaghi – small, cozy town on the slope of the mountain. Why it is called the city of love?  Asmanyaboutthisregionitisriddle. Therearetwoversions. First – in the town is twenty-four-hour wedding palace. Second – namely in Sighnaghi famous painter Niko Pirosmani covered the road with flowers for the actress Margaret. OfcourseinthetownisthemuseumofPirosmani. Here is kept few paintings of Pirosmani – and also the portrait of Pirosmani painted by Picasso.
Bodbe Monastery – is a national shrine of Georgia. Here in the Cathedral of St. George is buried Equal to the Apostles Nino of Cappadocia – great Enlightener of Georgia – harbinger the Christian era.
Wine degustation in Sighnaghi – drink of the gods, to which Georgians have special respect. Delight cool Georgian wine.Return to Tbilisi

Day 5:  Uflistsikhe/ Sataplia/ Bagrati Temple/ Kutaisi
On the way to Kutaisi visit Uplistsikhe (entrance fee: USD 1, 70), “the lord’s fortress”, which is an ancient rock-hewn town in eastern Georgia. Built on a high rocky left bank of Mtkvari River, it contains various structures dating from the 2nd ML BC to the Late Middle Ages. Then we will visit Sataplia Cave , as well as Prometheus Cave are the most popular attractions in Imereti region. Sataplia Cave is famous for dinosaur steps. To attract tourists, they also placed models of dinosaurs that were moving and moaning and looked like alive. But most of all I liked transparent field on the top of the hill. You are given special sneakers not to damage glass. It is very scary to stay on this transparent field but you can see Kutaisi from there and it is worth seeing. . Then we will arrive in Kutaisi which is the second largest city of Georgia in its west part founded about 40 centuries ago, former capital of the west Georgian Kingdom Colchis, to which is related the myth of Golden Fleece and Argonauts. Visiting Bagrati Temple (11th c. UNESCO heritage). Visit Gelati Monastery (12th c. UNESCO heritage). Visit smaller monastery of Motsameta, spectacularly sited on a cliff-edge.

Day 6: Batumi
Drive to Batumi, passing by suptropical landscapes, citrus and tea plantations.

Day 8: Vardziya/ Rabati/ Borjomi/ Bakuriani
After breakfast drive to Vardzia (entrance fee: USD 1, 70). Vardzia, a rock-hewn complex on the left bank of the river Mtkvari was founded in the 12th -13th c.c.In the middle of the complex there is a Church of Assumption, richly decorated with mural painting. Afterwards drive to Rabati, Built in the 13th century, Rabati castle developed under the influence of different cultures over subsequent centuries and this is reflected in its architecture. Within the 7 hectares castle complex there is a Church, a Mosque, a Minaret and a Synagogue.
Then we will drive to Borjomi. Have a stop to taste the Borjomi natural mineral water. Have free time to take a walk in Borjomi Park (entrance fee: USD 0, 90). Taste natural mineral water “Borjomi”. Drive to the famous Georgian ski resort Bakuriani
Overnight in Bakuriani.

Day 9:  Gori: Stalin Museum/ Mtskheta/ Tbilisi
After breakfast drive to Gori. The city was founded by one of the greatest kings of Georgia, David the Builder (1089–1125). Visit The Joseph Stalin Museum in Gori (entrance fee: USD 6). Then  drive to Mtskheta. We visit the ancient capital and religious centre of Georgia – Mtskheta (3000 years old) and see its historical places: Jvari church (6th century) and Svetitskhoveli Cathedral (11th century) where the Robe of Christ is buried. Both Jvari and Svetitskhoveli are UNESCO World Heritage sites. Drive to Tbilisi, and enjoy with night life of Tiflis.

Day 10: Transfer to the airport. Return home.
