Day:1  Arrive in Tbilisi.
Meeting with Georgian Santa Claus “Tovlis Babua” and the Georgian “Gozinaki (this national sweetness, which is prepared in every family in the New Year’s Eve. By tradition, the hostess gives “Gozinaki” to the guest and by this she means ” let your life be as sweet as this Gozinaki”.

Day 2: Tbilisi – Mtskheta -Tbilisi
Today we will explore the capital of Georgia,. First we will visit  Metekhi Cathedral – founded in the 13th century, Narikala Fortress(4th), Walk across the Bridge of Peace which is a stunning design as well as convenient crossing between the newly constructed Rike Park and the Old Town.. Continue to explore  underground sulphur baths (17th century) – the district of naturally hot mineral waters, cafe street Shardeni, Synagogue, Sioni Cathedral and the most ancient Basilica in Tbilisi Anchiskhati (6th century).  We will visit Mountain Mtatsminda, the Pantheon, the burial of many famous writers, artists, scientists and national heroes of Georgia.  Then drive to Mtskheta and see its historical places: Jvari Monastery (6th c) and Svetitskoveli Cathedral (11th c) ) which is known as a place where Christ’s robe was buried. Walk along the narrow streets of Mtskheta with souvenir shopping possibility. Free time for shopping at the Christmas Fair or to visit the famous sulfur baths. Return to the hotel to prepare for New Year’s party.

Day 3 : Tbilisi-Gremi-Nekresi-Telavi
According to tradition, Georgians have a hangover meal . We will taste “Chacha”, “Khashi”, “Chikhirtma” or “Khinkali” in Georgian restaurant. Drive to Kakheti – famous for wine-making and it is associated with good wine and openhearted hospitality.  We will visit Gremi Monastery Complex – The magnificent town of Gremi was briefly the capital of Kakheti.  Then  we will visit  old wine-cellar and taste Qvevri wine (Qvevri wine-making is listed on UNESCO Intangible Heritage list.), made according to ancient traditional methods. Nekresi Monastery – Nekresi was founded by King Parnajom in the 2nd century BC. In the 4th century AD King Trdat built a church in the town, which is now one of the oldest Christian churches in Georgia.

After the tour visit the restaurant and the cellar, where you will learn how to cook Georgian dishes (khachapuri khinkali, barbecue and churchkhela). Dinner at the restaurant with the leadership, and meeting holiday “Bedoba. In Georgian, “Bedi” means the fate, by tradition as you meet the night of 2nd January, so will pass the whole year.

Day 4: Telavi-Sighnaghi-bodbe-Tsinandali-Tbilisi
After breakfast at the hotel  head to Tsinandali – a village noted for the estate and its historic winery, which once belonged to the 19th century aristocratic poet Alexander Chavchavadze. We will have an excursion in the family museum and a walk in the park beautifully laid out in an English style with fine views and exotic plants. Next destination will be Sighnaghi (the city of love) a small beautiful town that opens to visitors the magnificent views of the Great Caucasus Range. On the way visit the monastery “Bodbe”. Free time to stroll through the Sighnaghi.

Return to Tbilisi.

Day 5: Tbilisi-Ananuri-Kazbegi-Tbilisi

After breakfast at the hotel  our path will run north along the Georgian Military Highway, to the border with Russia. Throughout the route you will be surrounded by dramatic mountain scenery. On the way you will visit Ananuri fortress(16th), Jinvali Water Reservoir and see an amazing view of the Gudauri ski resort (photoshoot at beautifull sights). Than we will visit Stepantsminda known as Kazbegi, small town in the north-east Georgia. It is well known and considered to be one of the must see destinations in Georgia due to amazing views of mountains and stunning nature. You will see Gergeti Trinity Church(14th) located on 2200 meters above sea level.

Return to Tbilisi.

Day 6:  Transfer to the airport. Return home. We wish you a safe flight and hope to see you again soon.
